What a wet year we are experiencing. We did finally have two sessions in June behind the surf club but it is evident that we can’t keep up with the amount of growth and spread of weeds in the reserve without more hands on deck.
We will revert back to working on the 4th Sunday of each month (not Saturday), so this July we will meet on 24th at site5 which is south of Beach road. I will in due course update the website schedule dates .
Unfortunately there have been dog attacks on the shore birds at the southern end of the beach and we have asked council to address this. Consequently we have concern for the safety of the swamp wallaby that is living in the reserve and ask that you ensure all pets are under control at all times.
