Feb 26 2023

First scheduled working bee for 2023 and there has been significant growth for all plants (good and bad) following the rain and warmth.

We hope to see more new faces this year to help clear the backlog of weeds.

Come and learn how to identify native plants , and tell the difference between weeds (non endemic) and natives.

For example ,Buffalo grass, Kikuyu grass , summer grass and agapanthus are not native so if you throw those lawn clippings and garden waste into the reserve you are helping spread weeds.

Remember to wear long sleeves and long pants and closed in shoes .
